Metaswitch Signs Global Reseller Agreement with Telax Hosted Call CenterFebruary 11, 2013
Telax Hosted Call Center and Metaswitch Networks have teamed up on marketing and supporting an integrated cloud contact center solution. In addition to further enhancing the Metaswitch Hosted Business Services Solution, this alliance allows Metaswitch to offer its customers advanced capabilities for customer care and service desk operations. Now, Metaswitch customers can offer a comprehensive Contact Center Solution to their subscriber base. Customers will not have to pay any upfront capital costs or sign any long term contracts to achieve this goal. All Metaswitch customers that implement the Telax solution will be able to add several features to their hosted services portfolio including workforce management functionality, an ACD, IVR and call recording. “We are very proud to be selected by Metaswitch, as we both share the same commitment to leadership in technology, customer service, and support,” said Sam Sharkawy, vice president of Carrier Solutions at Telax, in a statement. Telax is a cloud contact center solution provider and Metaswitch Networks provides software that powers a whole new generation of communications services. Both companies already share a successful business relationship and have spent the past two years helping service providers to leverage the Telax solution to improve internal customer care operations. “With Telax, our carrier customers that require best-in-class cloud contact center software in their portfolio can now provide organizations with a superior, differentiated solution to help them improve their customer experience,” added Al Cook, vice president of Product Management at Metaswitch. Metaswitch was recently in news when it was chosen by global mobile satellite communications services provider Inmarsat (News - Alert) for advanced VoIP products.
